Your Birth Workers

Welcome! I'm Kathryn
I’m a wife, a proud mother of two beautiful girls, a registered nurse, and a passionate advocate for informed birth. For over 13 years, I’ve worked as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse, walking alongside families during some of their most transformative moments. Throughout my career, I’ve discovered just how powerful education can be in helping families feel confident, prepared, and empowered during birth.
While I’ve cherished my time at the bedside, I’ve seen firsthand the gaps in childbirth education—both in clinical settings and traditional hospital classes. That’s why I became a certified childbirth educator and doula. My goal is to bring compassionate, evidence-based education out of the hospital and directly to families, giving you the tools to advocate for the birth experience you deserve.
My personal birthing journeys also opened my eyes to how under-discussed and under-supported the postpartum period can be. So many families are unprepared for the emotional and physical changes that follow birth. Maternal mental health struggles, though common, are rarely talked about—and that needs to change.
In my childbirth classes, we’ll go beyond labor and delivery. We’ll talk about postpartum recovery, mental health, and how your partner can best support you through this significant transition. My mission is to provide not just information, but a sense of confidence and community as you begin this new chapter.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
